Meet the Board of Directors

The Macomb County Warming Center has an active board of directors that meets monthly. Here’s a look at those now serving on the board:

Kevin Goodrich, President

Kevin is employed Kramer Homes Cooperatives and is a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Men’s Club in St. Clair Shores. He’s an active shelter volunteer and a founder of this organization. He’s been on the board 10 years.

Kathy McKinley-Goodrich, Treasurer

Kathy is executive director for the Warming Center. She’s also a founder of the organization and active shelter volunteer. She’s been on the board eight years. Kathy is also a member of the Detroit Metro interfaith Committee on Worker Issues.

Joannie Matiyow, Secretary

Joanne is employed Campbell-Ewald and she’s a member of St. Edmund Church. She’s a member of the Christian Service Commission.

Patrick Byrne 

Pat retired from Ford Motor Co. and is on the Christian Service Committee at St. Blasé Church, Sterling Heights. He is a volunteer for Macomb Crisis Center, Habitat for Humanity and Haiti Outreach. Pat has been on the board five years.

Kathy Lancaster

Kathy works for Macomb County Community Mental Health. She is a board member and shelter coordinator for Love Life Family Christian Center. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Macomb Gardens Block Club. She has been on the board one year.

Michelina Plesco

Michelle is a retired teacher from Warren Consolidated Schools. She is the Christian Services Coordinator at St. Sylvester Church, Warren. She is vice president of the Good Samaritan Coalition and serves on the Macomb County Martin Luther King Dinner Committee. She has been on the board five years.

Dan Heaton

Dan is a ministerial intern at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Clemens and the communications advisor for Macomb County Community College. This is his first year on tbe board.

Joseph V. Belfiori

Joe is a real estate broker for J.V. Belfiori Real Estate, Sterling Heights. He is a member of St. Sylvester Church. This is his first year on the board.
